Meet the Team

Meet the team and find out who we are and what we do.

Jamie and Linda - Senior Pastors

Jamie and his wife Linda are the senior pastors at Dwelling Place Glasgow and they have been the Senior Pastors of the church since 2000, when they originally planted the church as Glasgow Westend Vineyard.

Their main role within Dwelling Place Glasgow is to make sure that the Church places "Love God, Love People" at the centre of all we do. They are passionate about seeing God's Kingdom come through the preaching of God's word and in the power of the Holy Spirit. They are keen to see that every follower of Jesus is encouraged to fully develop their God given potential and calling and that the ministry gifts of Ephesians 4 are fully worked out within the body.  Linda leads the Prophecy Team and is pioneering the development of a strong prophetic culture within the church, providing a strong undergirding of prayer and prophetic anointing.

Outside The Dwelling Place they are on the core team of Kingdom Legacy, a cross denominational and relational movement of church leaders wanting to see more of God's Kingdom come within their local church contexts.

The Team

Peter Fowler
Compassion Pastor

Peter is our Compassion Pastor and heads
up Compassion Ministries, which includes
our Storehouse Food Bank. Peter has been
part of the church, with his wife Grace,
since 2002 and on staff since 2007.
He also looks after the web and tech side
of things. When not working for the
church, Peter 'enjoys' landscape
gardening (but not the everyday
weeding) and working on his model
railway, which he has to share with
his cat.

Teeny Finlay
Children's and Family Co-ordinator

Teeny runs the our Kid's and Family
ministries. Her main focus is running and
maintaining healthy programmes for Kid's
Church and Youth and providing support to
families. These programmes include a full
range of groups for Kids' Church on Sunday
mornings and midweek meetings. Her family
support role includes meeting and supporting
families with children and helping them
navigate the issues of family life that all
families with children face from time to
time. She has been at working for us since
2013 and completed our Discipleship Year
in 2010. Teeny enjoys watching films in
her spare time, especially Disney films.

He joined us as a student in 2015 and
returned as a Student Intern in 2020
before taking over as the Student
Ministry Leader at the beginning of

student and young adult ministry
Barnaby runs 'Deeper' our student and
young adult Sunday evening gathering,
is responsible for student small groups,

He also co-ordinates the Sunday setup
and set-down team for our services at
Notre Dame High School.

Amy Simpkin
Administration Assistant

Amy is a gifted musician, composer and
worship leader and is ace at practical
administration. Along with leading a
worship team on a Sunday and developing
the worship teams for our 'Deeper' evenings
for students and young adults, Amy has
been instrumental in improving the way
in which band members and the sound and
visual teams communicate by introducing
a new suit of software programmes,
providing training and managing the
seamless switch over.

Jemma Gough

Jemma runs the Youth ministry,
organising the team, preparing the
programme, including lessons for Sunday
Youth meetings, Youth gatherings and
